School Scrip Scholarship Program

Shopping with SCRIP gift cards can save you money on your STMMS tuition and benefit the school!

How does it work?

The PTO purchases gift cards from SCRIP at a discount. Our program is run through ShopWithScrip.com, who has worked with over 30,000 nonprofit organizations over the course of 23 years.

All SCRIP retailers offer a rebate. When you purchase them from the PTO at face value, you earn half of the rebate and it is applied directly to your FACTS tuition account as a tuition scholarship. The other half benefits the school. In the past, we have had parents receive nearly $750 in scholarship money for the year.

What store SCRIP cards are available?

We have store cards from area retailers which you probably use each week, including Giant, Weis, and Karns, not to mention online retailers, restaurants, department stores, and gas stations.

How do I buy SCRIP cards?

You have to sign up with the SCRIP program to create an account, and then use the website to complete a weekly order by midnight on Monday. For orders requesting physical gift cards, please print the order and submit to school by Wednesday. You can choose for your cards to come home with your student on Friday or pick them up after each Mass from the SCRIP table. If your order is placed mid-week, it will be processed the following week. 

What forms of payment are accepted?

If you are paying with check, it MUST be sent in with your order form. Orders will only be processed with payment. PrestoPay is a great way to avoid dealing with checks! SCRIP does now accept credit cards, however, the fee could wipe out the benefit you are getting, so make sure to take that into consideration.

Can I buy electronic SCRIP cards?

Yes! Many retailers offer e-gift cards. You can also download the Raise Right app to purchase and use e-gift cards immediately.

Can anyone buy SCRIP cards without an account?

Yes! Anyone can purchase SCRIP cards without an account after all of the Masses at St. Margaret Mary Church. They can choose who receives the rebate and just need to provide the name of a registered SCRIP family.
